Popular-science writer and speaker Steven Johnson talks about the Web and says it is like a city; built by many, completely controlled by no one and so on. I think the interesting part is when he talks about the evolution of Internet from static websites to more dynamic content like weblogs and the presentation of new techniques like Googleshare and Technorati. Hear him out!

This is a really good talk by David Perry, an Irish videogame designer, about the future and past of videogames, and most of all about how games will impact us in the future. Recored in 2006 and posted on Ted yesterday.

Aubrey de Grey thinks we will be able to live forever. He says that science will make so much progress in our lifetime that damage done to our bodies could be constantly repaired and make us live for alot longer than we can imagine now. Great talk, watch it!

What of the things we take for granted can we in fact be sure about? This talk by humorous Britt Jonathan Drori addresses the fact that some of the things we learn can prevent us from understanding other stuff.
