27/10. Image retouching gone wrong

We are in the era of image manipulation and Photoshop retouching, and sometimes this fine art goes wrong. Here is a few examples, all found on the excellent blog Photoshop Disasters. It looks like there is some weird shit going on in the new 90210. Here is one whith an odd reflection in the window behind the bulldozer. This one could actually use some Photoshopping. Here is a t-shirt with a really visible print. If you're about to buy a house, remember to watch out for dogzilla here. Ooops. This looks like a serious injury to me. And finally, let the image below be a reminder to all of you, to check the photo twice after you're done retouching.

This great sculpture called Drug Vend was made by imbue and was places at the Brighton Pier in Brighton, UK. He also uploaded a video showing the reactions of people passing by.

18/10. Unfortunate names

This is a collection of food packages with somewhat unfortunate names. I've tried some of the Swedish ones myself and I still remember how my mom used to bring Finger Marie crackers to the beach when I was a kid. Here's another weird name, what's the deal with this Australian ice cream? Or this company in Vancouver? And what do they do at the 'Kidsexchange' as seen in this blog post? But a good name isn't everything, to sell you might need a good company slogan as well. And remember, it's all about location, location, location.

The photo below is one I shot some time ago on a trip to the Aaland Islands, showing a bag of chips (pussi is finnish for bag).

10/10. Advertising clip for Svenska Spel

This clip is said to be an advertising video for Swedish gambling company Svenska spel. I think it might be a fake, because I can't find any info about this ad ever been made - but it's still pretty amusing. The text at the end of the video says something like "gamble just enough", which is a part of their advertising campaign against gambling problems.
