31/10. The future of food, an infographic

I've said it before, I love infographics! And for those of you who come here often it might be obvious that I also like Wired Magazine, so what would be a really good match? - well, one between those two of course. So here is a really good series of infographics from Wired, showing the future of the food industry and how science will solve the problem that our growing consumption actually is. As I googled it, I saw it's been dugg alot, but hey you might have missed it as I did.

05/10. Some Soviet retrofuturism

This blog post displays some of the architectural ideas the Soviet Union had in the 1930s and 1940s, that were to be built in the future. Too bad they weren't all realized.

29/09. Can we live forever?

Aubrey de Grey thinks we will be able to live forever. He says that science will make so much progress in our lifetime that damage done to our bodies could be constantly repaired and make us live for alot longer than we can imagine now. Great talk, watch it!
