09/10. Danish Oscar Nominee from 2006

I'm really in to Danish film for the moment, so here is another one (posted this two weeks ago). If you're Scandinavian, chances are pretty big you've seen this movie, but to you other guys this might be news. Doesn't matter really, because this is a really good movie that's worth watching a second time. Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen - seen in Casino Royale - plays Jacob Pederson, a guy working at an orphanage in India that gets sent home to Copenhagen, where he receives some life altering news. This drama by Susanne Bier was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film of the Year in 2007.

02/10. Danish architecture in Prague

Copenhagen based Bjarke Ingels Group put together four towers that makes up a single W-shaped skyscraper. Walter Towers are planned for the Czech Republic capital Prague and to me it looks great!

27/09. Drama about love and dealing with a tragedy

This is a great Danish drama about Cæcilie and Joachim, a couple with everything going for them, that is faced with a new reality when a tragic accident occurs. Cæcilie finds comfort in doctor Niels, whos whife caused the accident. Elsker dig for evigt, or Open Hearts which is the english title, came out 2002 and was praised by the critics.
