The work with We Find The Stuff has been put on hold since august last year. We are of course very sorry about this and we will do our best to make some time for blogging as well. In the mean time, we are glad to present to you a new web service called LiveResponse&trade, which is what currently takes up most of our time. [Read more]

First off, I would like to say Hi to all the readers out there. My name is Chris and I am a new contributor here at We Find the Stuff. Before we really get going, a few things about myself. Within the last year I finished my studies in multimedia at a university in Boston, MA. I have worked in the gaming industry and audio technology field, and I share many interests with Henrick and Christofer here. I am hoping to bring my own unique voice as a writer to We Find the Stuff, while bringing you more of the style of content that got you reading this blog in the first place. Now that the boring stuff is out of the way, here’s what you came here for. [Read more]

Popular-science writer and speaker Steven Johnson talks about the Web and says it is like a city; built by many, completely controlled by no one and so on. I think the interesting part is when he talks about the evolution of Internet from static websites to more dynamic content like weblogs and the presentation of new techniques like Googleshare and Technorati. Hear him out!

I guess many of you have seen the Web 2.0 video that Kansas State University professor Michael Wesch made and uploaded on YouTube just before Super Bowl in 2007. That short video was a major Internet phenomenon and made it to the top on sites such as Digg and Technorati. In this 55 minutes video Michael talks about the Internet and how people interact using YouTube and other free tools out there. It's really good, so watch it if you got and hour to spare.

To celebrate their 10th birthday Google brought back their oldest index, from January 2001. This was before YouTube and MySpace, so don't expect to find them in your result. Quite fun initiative if you ask me.

We Feel Fine is a pretty cool project from the creator of Universe.org, that I mentioned in an earlier post. This site constantly collects feelings from weblogs all around the world. It does this by searching for phrases like "I feel" or "We feel" and so on, in the weblogs. Then it saves the sentence containing the feeling, along with other info that it was able to collect, like the persons name, geograpical location, age etc. The feelings is then displayed in a way that makes you able to play around with them, get statistics and see pictures associated with feelings. Really sweet.

Does the image look familiar? It's the November 1998 edition of Googles search engine - at that time still a part of the Stanford University domain. Use Wayback Machine for a nostalgic trip through the history of Internet, made possible by a log of over 2 billion web pages.

For the traveling photographer using Internet cafés around the world, this must be the perfect solution. Resize and edit your photos online for free with Photoshop Express, before you post them on your blog or in your photo album.
